After a career in electronics / radio / computers and three or four divorces, I retired from my Chief Technology Officer position on the East Coast to an obscure village in the Philippines. Prior to that, my church commissioned me as a Baptist Service Missionary. I had done my research. I had been to 68 other countries. I was ready to go.
